October 26th: After church we went to Vertuccio Farms in Mesa. Mason (Nathan's best friend) and his family (minus his dad who had to work) joined us. Josie loved the animals in the pizza garden. Nathan loved the pedal cars. All the kids loved the barrel train rides.
October 29th AM: Our moms group went to Mother Nature's Farm in Gilbert. First we got to hang out with Ashton, then Clarrisa.
October 29th PM: No Awana. Instead; dinner, games, candy, and the cleanest petting zoo ever with beautiful Polish crested hens sitting on a fence letting us pet them.
October 30th: Ahwatukee Preschool had it's annual parade. Josie's boots that she's wearing used to belong to my step-brother's daughter. Laurel has now graduated from college!
We never did get around to carving our pumpkins, but I did manage to create these! After halloween Eric cut all the pumpkins open and made awesome roasted pumpkin seeds. Each one of us got a bowl full. After Josie ate all of hers she noticed that I still had some. She came and stood next to me and said "I love pumpkin seeds." Then stuck her hand in my bowl and finished off mine. Nathan kept asking for more faster than Eric could roast them!
