Memorial Day at the Phoenix Zoo

We got to the zoo at 9am and spent the first two hours walking around to see all the animals. For lunch we laid down our cleansheet near the water. We could see the spider monkeys and the paddle boats. We did have some visitors (squirrels & birds) that we scared away by clapping very loud. After the fifth time they stopped coming over to us. Guess they figured that they were not going to get anything from us.

After lunch we went to see the huge tortoises, then it was off to the splash pad. Nathan & Josie had a ball!
